Following 30 years of sports coaching and using Guided Imagery techniques to improve performance and immerse competitors in the “feeling of flow”, in recent times I have expanded my interests in coaching and imagery to formally include clinical hypnosis.

Spending more than 20 years as a CEO and General Manager of a variety of companies in Australia and overseas, I observed first-hand how the mental wellbeing of staff affected their work performance and I became interested in what part the workplace plays in the mental and physical health of employees.

I witnessed the stress the role of CEO had on the incumbent and I made a decision to help (wherever I could) those suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD and other associated mental ‘pressure points’: Stress that can lead an individual to doubt their self-worth, their position in society and compound negative views such as ‘my life has always been this way and it will never change’.

Studying under world-renowned Psychologist and expert in the field of Depression and Clinical Hypnosis Dr. Michael Yapko Ph.D, I was introduced to ‘brief therapy’ and strategic psychotherapy methods that allow the relationship of client and practitioner to flourish, and offer the client a way to revisit past strengths and explore new possibilities.

My experience as an Australian Test Cricketer has resulted in a desire to help others understand why we can perform well one day and not so well the next.  I know what it feels like waiting to bat at the MCG in a Boxing Day Test match, listening to 90,000 screaming fans, watching your teammates, trying not to over or underestimate the opposition, not wanting to let the situation rule your own performance. The same applies to business performance and the dynamics that play out in the workplace.

I am passionate about offering my clients a better way of viewing their life problems, an opportunity to change current poor habits and choices and new possibilities for a full and healthy life.

I look forward to speaking with you.
